Syracuse University's renowned rugby program is set for an exhilarating international adventure this spring break as they head to Ireland for an immersive tour. Leveraging their strong partnership with the esteemed Leinster Rugby Club, based in Ireland, this tour promises a blend of skill enhancement, cultural exploration, and a firsthand experience of Ireland's rugby fervor.

Leinster Rugby has confirmed that former Leinster and Ireland player Seán O’Brien as the official ambassador for the Leinster Rugby School of Excellence at Syracuse University. O’Brien is currently the Contact Skills Coach with Leinster Rugby, and as a player, he was one of the finest back row forwards Ireland has ever produced.

Leinster Rugby, widely considered one of the most successful rugby organizations in the world, is partnering with Syracuse University to provide world class rugby coaching and training expertise to the University’s men’s and women’s rugby club sport programs.

Forty-two years ago, Bob Wilson asked himself what he considered important in his career. He could only come up cooking and coaching.
Since then, he’s continued to pursue the latter as the head coach of Syracuse men’s club rugby program. Wilson established one of the most successful club sports in Syracuse history and has led the Hammerheads to three straight first-place finishes in the Empire Rugby Conference.
